It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a sword whose hilt was of silver and whose pommel ring was of silver; its name was "Dhu al-Faqar". The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a bow whose name was "al-Sadad"; he had a quiver whose name was "al-Jam'"; he had a coat of mail, fitted with copper, whose name was "Dhat al-Fudul"; he had a spear whose name was "al-Nab'a"; he had a shield whose name was "al-Dafn"; he had a white shield, and its name was "al-Mujaz"; he had a black horse whose name was "al-Sakb"; he had a saddle whose name was "al-Dah"; he had a white mule whose name was "Duldul"; he had a she-camel whose name was "al-Qaswa"; he had a donkey whose name was "Ya'fur"; he had a carpet whose name was "al-Karr"; he had a spear whose name was "al-Namir"; he had a bowl whose name was "al-Sadir"; he had a mirror whose name was "al-Mir'ah"; he had a pair of scissors whose name was "al-Jami'"; and he had a staff made from the wood of the shawhat tree whose name was "al-Mamshuq".
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin Urwah, who is matruk (abandoned).
