وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ رَمَى رَمْيَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ - قَصَّرَ أَوْ بَلَغَ - كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ أَرْبَعِ أُنَاسٍ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ أَعْتَقَهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ شَبِيبُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ وَفِيهِ ضَعْفٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever shoots an arrow in the way of Allah, whether it reaches the target or falls short, receives a reward like that of freeing four people from the descendants of Sayyiduna Isma'il (peace be upon him)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Shabib bin Bishr, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but has some weakness.
