Majma al-Zawaid 9392 — Reports on bows, spears and swords

Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every amusement is disliked, except a man playing with his wife, his walking between two targets, and his training his horse."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains al-Mundhir bin Ziyad al-Ta'i, who is da'if (weak).
