وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَلَى قَوْمٍ يَرْمُونَ فَقَالَ : " ارْمُوا بَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ فَإِنَّ أَبَاكُمْ كَانَ رَامِيًا " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people who were practising archery. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shoot, O children of Isma'il! For your forefather was an archer."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqamah, whose hadith is hasan (good). The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
