وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ : كَانَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَرَسٌ يَسْبَحُ بِهِ سَبْحًا فَأَعْجَبَهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : "إِنَّمَا فَرَسِي هَذَا بَحْرٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ مَرْوَانُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ الشَّامِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a horse that ran swiftly, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was pleased with it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This horse of mine is a sea."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Marwan bin Salim al-Shami, who is da'if (weak).
