Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) says: My father had three horses belonging to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which he used to feed. Sayyiduna Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard my father naming them (they were): al-Lizaz, al-Luhayf and al-Zarib. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A hadith from Sayyiduna Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned in the "Sahih," in which only the horse named "al-Luhayf" is mentioned, and here
this narration is reported from him from his father.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Muhaymin bin Abbas, who is da'if (weak).
