It is reported about Sayyiduna Mujashi' bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with his nephew, so that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would take his pledge of allegiance for emigration (hijrah). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No! Rather, his pledge will be taken for Islam, for there is no emigration after the Conquest, and he will be among those who follow in excellence (ihsan)." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This narration is mentioned in the Sahih, but without these words: "He will be among those who follow in excellence."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Yahya bin Ishaq, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
