وَعَنْ ثَوْبَانَ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ لِبَنِي الْعَبَّاسِ رَايَتَيْنِ أَعْلَاهَا كُفْرٌ وَمَرْكَزُهَا ضَلَالَةٌ فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتَهَا فَلَا تَضِلَّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ نُسِبَ إِلَى الْوَضْعِ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ نُسِبَ إِلَى الْوَضْعِ ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ عَدِيٍّ : لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Banu al-Abbas will have two banners; the upper (part) of them will be disbelief and the (part) where they are planted will be misguidance. If you encounter it, do not go astray."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Yazid bin Rabi'ah, who is matruk (abandoned) and has been accused of fabricating hadith, while Ibn Adi says: "There is no harm in him."
