وَعَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ - أَوِ ابْنِ الْحَسَنِ - عَنْ عَمِّهِ : أَنَّ النَّاسَ سَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الْوَسْوَسَةِ الَّتِي يَجِدُهَا أَحَدُهُمْ ، لَأَنْ يَسْقُطَ مِنْ عِنْدِ الثُّرَيَّا أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِهِ . قَالَ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " ذَاكَ صَرِيحُ الْإِيمَانِ ، إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْتِي الْعَبْدَ فِيمَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ ، فَإِذَا عُصِمَ مِنْهُ وَقَعَ فِيمَا هُنَالِكَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ أَئِمَّةٌ .

Umarah bin Abi al-Hasan, or perhaps Umarah bin al-Hasan, narrates from his uncle: The people asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the whispering that one of them experiences, such that falling from the Pleiades would be dearer to that person than speaking about that whispering. The narrator says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is clear faith. Indeed, Satan comes to the servant with matters less than that, and when he is protected from it, he then falls into the other."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are trustworthy imams (thiqat a'immah).
