وَعَنْ حَوْطِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَمَرَ بِقَطْعِ الْجَرَسِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Hawt bin Abd al-Uzza (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that bells be cut off.
