وَعَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ شَيْبَةَ قَالَتْ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بَلَّ ثَوْبًا وَهُوَ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ يَضْرِبُ التَّصَاوِيرَ الَّتِي فِيهَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyidah Safiyyah bint Shaybah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) have a cloth moistened while he was inside the Ka'bah, and then he began to rub that cloth over the images that were in the Ka'bah.
Imam Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
