وَعَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زِيَادَةَ الْبَكْرِيِّ قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى ابْنَيْ بِشْرٍ الْمَازِنِيَّيْنِ فَقُلْتُ : هَلْ رَأَيْتُمَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ؟ فَقَالَا : نَعَمْ زَارَنَا فِي رِحَالِنَا فَقَرَّبْنَا إِلَيْهِ طَعَامًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْ طَعَامِنَا وَرَأَى فِي قَرْنِ أَحَدِنَا شَعَرَاتٍ مُلْتَفَّةً فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ عَلَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ : " الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي أُمَّتِي مِثْلَ هَذَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ طَالِبِ بْنِ قُرَّةَ الْأَذَنِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ طَالِبِ بْنِ قُرَّةَ الْأَذَنِيُّ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Ubayd bin Ziyadah al-Bakri narrates: I went to the two sons of Sayyiduna Bishr al-Mazini (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked: "Have you both seen the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" They replied: "Yes, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us at our lodgings. We presented food to him, and he ate some of our food. He saw some hair twisted together on the forehead of one of us, so he placed his blessed hand on it and said: 'All praise belongs to Allah, who has made the like of this in my Ummah.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher Talib bin Qurrah al-Adhani, whom I do not know; the remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
