وَعَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَخْضِبُ بِالصُّفْرَةِ ، وَشَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ . وَعُثْمَانُ ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ ، وَهُوَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ لَمْ يَجْرَحْهُ أَحَدٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ . وَعُثْمَانُ ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ ، وَهُوَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ لَمْ يَجْرَحْهُ أَحَدٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Uthman bin Ubaydullah narrates: I saw Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) dyeing with yellow. He took part in the Pledge of Aqabah.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. The narrator Uthman was mentioned by Ibn Abi Hatim; he is Uthman bin Ubaydullah bin Abi Rafi', and no one has criticised him. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
