وَعَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ قَالَ : كَانَ أَنْسٌ يُصَفِّرُ لِحْيَتَهُ بِالْوَرْسِ . .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا خَالِدَ بْنَ عُقْبَةَ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .

Isma'il bin Abi Khalid narrates: Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to dye his beard with wars.
