Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8586

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hazim (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while his outward appearance was shabby. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Do you have wealth?" He replied: "I have every kind of wealth; Allah Almighty has given me camels, cattle and goats." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has wealth, the trace of it (that wealth) should be seen upon him."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Yazid bin Abi Burdah, and he is da'if (weak).
