وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَتَسَرْوَلُونَ وَلَا يَتَّزِرُونَ ؟ قَالَ : " فَتَسَرْوَلُوا أَنْتُمْ وَائْتَزِرُوا " . قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَحْتَفُّونَ وَلَا يَنْتَعِلُونَ ؟ قَالَ : " فَاحْتَفُّوا أَنْتُمْ وَانْتَعِلُوا وَخَالِفُوا أَوْلِيَاءَ الشَّيْطَانِ بِكُلِّ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي بِنَحْوِ هَذَا فِي الْأَدَبِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي بِنَحْوِ هَذَا فِي الْأَدَبِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The people said: "O Messenger of Allah, the polytheists wear trousers (or pyjamas) and do not wear the lower wrap (izar)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You should wear trousers and also tie the lower wrap!" They said: "O Messenger of Allah, the polytheists go barefoot and do not wear sandals." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You should go barefoot and also wear sandals! But differ from the friends of Satan as much as you are able."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from Ali bin Sa'id al-Razi, and he is da'if (weak). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: some hadith of this kind will come later in the chapter on "Adab" (manners), if Allah wills.
