وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " عَلَيْكُمْ بِثِيَابِ الْبَيَاضِ فَالْبَسُوهَا ، وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُوَقَّرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُوَقَّرِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hold to wearing white clothes: wear them, and shroud your dead in them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains al-Walid bin Muhammad al-Muwaqqari, who is matruk (abandoned).
