وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَقَامَ بَعْضَ نِسَائِهِ وَشَبَرَ مِنْ ذَيْلِهَا شِبْرًا أَوْ شِبْرَيْنِ وَقَالَ : " لَا تَزِدْنَ عَلَى هَذَا " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made one of his wives stand, let down one or two hand-spans of her hem, and said: Do not exceed this.
