بَابُ فِيمَنْ أَتَى كَاهِنًا أَوْ عَرَّافًا .

Majma al-Zawaid 8482 — One who goes to a soothsayer or fortune-teller
عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ أَتَى كَاهِنًا فَصَدَّقَهُ بِمَا يَقُولُ فَقَدْ كَفَرَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ ، خَلَا عُقْبَةَ بْنَ سِنَانٍ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever goes to a soothsayer and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Uqbah bin Sinan, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
