Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8417

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is nothing in the ham, the evil eye is real, and the truest of omens is the good omen (fa'l)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Ufayr bin Ma'dan, and he is da'if (weak).
