Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8391

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no significance to Safar (the month being ill-omened) or to the hamah, and a sick person does not pass on (illness) to a healthy one."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains Tha'labah bin Yazid al-Himmani, whom Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared thiqah (trustworthy), yet there is weakness in him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
