Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Cleanse yourselves (istinja') with cold water, for it is a cure for haemorrhoids."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Ammar bin Harun, and he is matruk (abandoned).
