Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8381

Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hold fast to this blessed tree, the olive; use it as a remedy, for it is a cure for haemorrhoids."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, whose hadith is hasan (good), and the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. However, Imam al-Dhahabi has
mentioned this narration in the biography of Uthman, as a narration from Abu Salih, and he quoted Abu Hatim as saying that this narrator is a kadhdhab (liar).
