Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came into the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and with him was his brother, who was suffering from dropsy of the belly. He said: "O Messenger of Allah! My brother is suffering from dropsy of the belly. We went to the physicians, and they instructed me to cauterize him. Shall I cauterize him?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not cauterize him!" Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent the man back to his family. A camel passed by the man and struck him on the belly, and because of that his belly became normal. He was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Had you gone to the physicians, you would have said that the fire cured him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in all three books; its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Isa al-Khazzaz, and he is da'if (weak).
