Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8305

Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) relates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats seven Ajwah dates of Madinah al-Munawwarah during the day, poison will not harm him that day; and whoever eats them at night, poison will not harm him."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: a hadith narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) is also in the Sahih, and it is other than this report.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Abdullah bin Ishaq al-Hashimi; al-Uqayli says: he has hadiths, none of which he is corroborated in. I do not know his father. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
