Majma al-Zawaid 8275 — The creation of disease and cure
عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ :
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - حَيْثُ خَلَقَ الدَّاءَ خَلَقَ الدَّوَاءَ ، فَتَدَاوُوا " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا عِمْرَانَ الْعَمِّيَّ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ ابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَغَيْرُهُ .
" إِنَّ اللَّهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - حَيْثُ خَلَقَ الدَّاءَ خَلَقَ الدَّوَاءَ ، فَتَدَاوُوا " .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, when Allah Almighty created disease, He also created the remedy, so use remedies."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Imran al-Ammi: Ibn Hibban and others declared him thiqah (trustworthy), while Yahya bin Ma'in and others called him da'if (weak).
