Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8238

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he disliked that one should blow in front of oneself during prayer, or blow into one's drink.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Salih, the freed slave of al-Taw'amah, who suffered from confusion (ikhtilat). The remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy). Some hadiths about blowing into food have already passed before this.
