بَابُ اخْتِنَاثِ الْأَسْقِيَةِ ، وَالشُّرْبِ مِنَ الْإِدَاوَةِ ، وَثُلْمَةِ الْقَدَحِ .
Drinking from the mouths of waterskins, from a small water vessel, and from the chipped part of a cup
Majma al-Zawaid 8233 — Drinking from the mouths of waterskins
وَعَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : نَهَى أَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْ كَسْرِ الْقَدَحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He forbade drinking from the broken part of a cup.
