Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8200

Ibrahim said: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Do not give your children wine to drink, for your children are born upon the fitrah (natural disposition). Would you give them to drink what is not lawful for them? The sin of it will be upon the one who gives it to them to drink. Indeed, Allah Almighty has not placed your cure in what He has made forbidden to you."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain is munqati' (broken), and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
