Mukhtar bin Fulful narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about vessels, and he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the muzaffat, and said: "Every intoxicant is forbidden." The narrator says: I asked: "What is meant by muzaffat?" He replied: "The muqayyar (a vessel coated with something like tar)." The narrator says: I asked: "What do you say about lead (or tin) and glass?" He said: "There is no harm in them." I said: "People regard both of them as disliked." He said: "Leave what makes you doubt for what does not make you doubt; and in any case, every intoxicant is forbidden." I said: "You are right, every intoxicant is forbidden; even if it is one or two sips after our meal?" He said: "Both a small and a large amount of an intoxicant are forbidden." Then he said: "Khamr is made from grapes, dates, honey, wheat, barley and sorghum; whatever of these becomes khamr will be counted as khamr."
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it, but Abu Ya'la's words are: "Khamr has been forbidden; it is made from grapes, dates, honey, wheat, barley and sorghum." After this, the narrator mentioned the hadith as before. After his words: "Leave what makes you doubt and go to what does not make you doubt," al-Bazzar recorded these additional words: "This is a decisive word which those before you adopted."
Al-Bazzar recorded it in abridged form. The narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the Sahih.
