عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِنَّ رَبِّي تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى حَرَّمَ عَلَيَّ الْخَمْرَ ، وَالْكُوبَةَ ، وَالْقِنِّينِ ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْغُبَيْرَاءَ فَإِنَّهَا ثُلْثُ خَمْرِ الْعَالَمِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَحْرٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو زَرْعَةِ ، وَالنَّسَائِيُّ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَحْرٍ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَبُو زَرْعَةِ ، وَالنَّسَائِيُّ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ الْجُمْهُورُ .
Sayyiduna Qays bin Sa'd bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, my Lord has forbidden me wine, and has forbidden the kubah (drum) and the qinnin (a particular Roman game of gambling); and beware of the ghubayra, for it is one third of the wines of the whole world."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ubaydullah bin Zahr. Abu Zur'ah and Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared him thiqah (trustworthy), and the majority declared him da'if (weak).
