Sayyiduna Tha'labah bin al-Hakam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) captured me, and at that time I was a young man. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbid using plundered property, and he ordered that the pots in which the meat of domestic donkeys was cooking be poured out. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Majah recorded from this Companion the part about the prohibition of plundered property.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
