وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلِيطٍ قَالَ : أَتَانَا نَهْيُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ أَكْلِ الْحُمُرِ الْإِنْسِيَّةِ وَالْقُدُورُ تَفُورُ بِهَا ، فَكَفَأْنَاهَا عَلَى وُجُوهِهَا .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ ضُمَيْرَةَ ، ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ وَلَمْ يُوَثِّقْهُ وَلَمْ يَجْرَحْهُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ ضُمَيْرَةَ ، ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ وَلَمْ يُوَثِّقْهُ وَلَمْ يَجْرَحْهُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Salit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The prohibition of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding eating (the meat of) domestic donkeys reached us while that meat was cooking in the pots, so we overturned those pots.
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Abdullah bin Amr bin Dumayrah, whom Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned without either declaring him trustworthy or criticising him.
