عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " ائْتَدِمُوا الشَّجَرَةَ " - يَعْنِي الزَّيْتَ " وَمَنْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ طِيبٌ فَلْيُصِبْ مِنْهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ النَّضْرُ بْنُ ظَاهِرٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Use this tree as a condiment" - the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant olive oil - "and whoever is offered perfume, let him take some of it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains al-Nadr bin Zahir, who is da'if (weak).
