وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَأْكُلُ الْخُبْزَ بِالتَّمْرِ وَيَقُولُ : " هَذَا إِدَامُ هَذَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would eat bread with dates and would say: "This is its condiment."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Kathir bin Marwan, and he is da'if (weak).
