وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَكَلَ بِشِمَالِهِ أَكْلَ مَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ ، وَمَنْ شَرِبَ بِشِمَالِهِ شَرِبَ مَعَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ أَحْمَدَ رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَفِي الْآخَرِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ أَحْمَدَ رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَفِي الْآخَرِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever eats with his left hand, the devil eats with him; and whoever drinks with his left hand, the devil drinks with him."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat recorded it. Ahmad's chain contains Rishdin bin Sa'd, and he is da'if (weak), though he has been declared trustworthy; the other chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, and his narration is hasan (good).
