Majma al-Zawaid 7919 — Eating while reclining
وَعَنِ [ ابْنِ ] أَبِي إِهَابٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَوْ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ نَأْكُلَ مُتَّكِئِينَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْ مُحَمَّدًا هَذَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْ مُحَمَّدًا هَذَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Ibn Abi Ihab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are:) the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from eating while reclining.
Al-Bazzar recorded it as a narration of Muhammad bin Ubayd bin Abi Mulaykah. I do not know this narrator Muhammad bin Ubayd. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
