عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ : " ضَعْهُ بِالْحَضِيضِ أَوْ بِالْأَرْضِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَشِيدٍ ، وَمُجَّاعَةُ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْبَصَرِيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَشِيدٍ ، وَمُجَّاعَةُ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْبَصَرِيُّ ، وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمَا ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man brought food to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Put it on the ground" (the narrator is unsure about one word of the narration).
Al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains Abdullah bin Rashid and Mujja'ah Abu Ubaydah al-Basri, and I do not know either of them. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
