Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7833

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: The ila' of the Days of Ignorance was for one or two years. Then Allah Almighty fixed a period for it, so whoever's ila' is for less than four months, it will not be an ila'.
Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
