وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْحَامِلِ وَالْمُتَوَفَّى عَنْهَا ؟ فَقَالَ : كُنَّا نُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

It is reported about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he was asked about the pregnant woman and the widow, and he said: "We used to give her maintenance."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
