Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting with some of the Muhajirun and the Ansar. Meanwhile a camel came and prostrated to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). His Companions said: O Messenger of Allah! Animals and trees prostrate to you; we are more entitled to prostrate to you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Worship your Lord and honour your brother. If I were to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband. If the husband instructed his wife to move a yellow mountain to a black mountain, or a (black) mountain to a white mountain, it would be proper for the woman to do so (that is, to try to do so). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Majah recorded part of this narration without this context.
Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains Ali bin Zayd, whose hadith is hasan (good), though he has been declared weak. In the chapter on the signs of prophethood there is more than one hadith of this kind.
