وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْمَرْأَةُ كَالضِّلَعِ إِنْ أَقَمْتَهَا كَسَرْتَهَا وَهِيَ يُسْتَمْتَعُ بِهَا عَلَى عِوَجٍ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "A woman is like a rib: if you try to straighten it, you will break it. Benefit can be had from her along with her crookedness."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and al-Bazzar recorded it. The narrators of al-Bazzar are the narrators of the Sahih.
