عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَرْسَلَ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ تَنْظُرُ إِلَى جَارِيَةٍ فَقَالَ : " شُمِّي عَوَارِضَهَا ، وَانْظُرِي إِلَى عُرْقُوبَيْهَا " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي إِرْسَالُ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَوْلَةَ فِي تَزْوِيجِ عَائِشَةَ ، وَغَيْرُهَا فِي الْمَنَاقِبِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ ثِقَاتٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي إِرْسَالُ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَوْلَةَ فِي تَزْوِيجِ عَائِشَةَ ، وَغَيْرُهَا فِي الْمَنَاقِبِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) to look at a girl, and he said: "Smell her cheeks and look at her calves."
Ahmad and al-Bazzar recorded it, and the narrators of Ahmad are thiqat (trustworthy). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Sayyidah Khawlah (may Allah be pleased with her) at the time of his marriage to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her); other narrations about this will come in the chapter on virtues (Manaqib), if Allah wills.
