بَابٌ فِيمَا أُحِلَّ مِنْ نِكَاحِ النِّسَاءِ .

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ ثَلَاثًا : نِكَاحٌ بِمُوَارَثَةٍ ، وَنِكَاحٌ بِغَيْرِ مُوَارَثَةٍ ، وَمِلْكُ الْيَمِينِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ ، وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah Almighty has made lawful three kinds of union with women: marriage with mutual inheritance, marriage without mutual inheritance, and what the right hand possesses."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains al-Husayn bin Zayd, who has been declared trustworthy and has also been criticised.
