وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - تَزَوَّجَ مَيْمُونَةَ ، وَهُوَ حَلَالٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ ، وَلَمْ يُجَرِّحْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ ، وَفِي بَعْضِهِمْ كَلَامٌ لَا يَضُرُّ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) married Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), he was not at that time in the state of ihram.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Uthman bin Makhlad al-Wasiti, whom Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned without criticising him; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), and some of them have been criticised in a way that does no harm.
