وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَأْمُرُ بِالْبَاءَةِ وَيَنْهَى عَنِ التَّبَتُّلِ نَهْيًا شَدِيدًا وَيَقُولُ : " تَزَوَّجُوا الْوَدُودَ الْوَلُودَ ، فَإِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمُ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to command marriage and strongly forbid remaining unmarried, and he would command: "Marry loving women who are able to bear children, for on the Day of Resurrection I will take pride in your great numbers before the other Prophets."
Ahmad, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
