وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ عَبْدًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَرَأَى عَبْدَهُ فَوْقَ دَرَجَتِهِ فَقَالَ : يَا رَبِّ هَذَا عَبْدِي فَوْقَ دَرَجَتِي ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ جَزَيْتُهُ بِعَمَلِهِ وَجِزْيَتُكَ بِعَمَلِكَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ بَشِيرُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man entered Paradise and found his slave in a rank above his own. He said: O my Lord! This slave of mine is in a rank above mine? The Lord said: Yes! I have rewarded him for his deeds, and I have rewarded you for your deeds."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Bashir bin Maymun, who is matruk (abandoned).
