عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " يَرِثُ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ لِأَبِيهِ وَأُمِّهِ دُونَ أُخْوَتِهِ لِأَبِيهِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَلَا أَعْرِفُ مَعْنَاهُ ، وَفِيهِ الْحَارِثُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man inherits from his full brother, to the exclusion of his paternal half-brothers."
Abu Ya'la recorded it. I have not understood its meaning. Its chain contains a narrator, al-Harith, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
