عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّهُ سُئِلَ عَنْ زَوْجٍ وَأُخْتٍ لِأَبٍ وَأُمٍّ ؟ فَأَعْطَى الزَّوْجَ النِّصْفَ وَالْأُخْتَ النِّصْفَ ، وَكُلِّمَ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ : حَضَرْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَضَى بِذَلِكَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

It is reported about Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was asked about a husband and a full sister. He gave the husband half and the sister half. When he was spoken to about this, he said: I was present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave this ruling.
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Bakr bin Abi Maryam, who suffered from confusion (ikhtilat), and the remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
