Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7006

Abd al-Rahman bin Jawshan narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to his son, who was governor of Sijistan: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "No one should give two different judgments concerning a single matter."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
